Crestwood FallBrook IMD
The Fallbrook Healing Center is also Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC).
Crestwood is a secure, locked facility meaning that conservatees cannot leave whenever they wish. There are around 132 beds. Several counties contract for a certain number of beds. The program focuses on recovery through therapy groups, psychiatry most likely once a month, art therapy, exercise groups, and mental health education. Crestwood length of care is around 6 months depending on recovery and compliance with the program. However, conservatees can be placed there for up to a year.
Crestwood offers:
Dual Recovery, Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Anger Management, Medication Education, Impulse Control, Symptom Management, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Therapeutic Recreational and Leisure Skills
Staff like to see conservatees engage in program and attend to their ADL's. There may be day passes issued if the conservatee engages in program. A conservator or trusted friend or family member may be able to take the patient out for a few hours visit with staff and program director's permission.
